Well, my name is Shmaya David, and I live in Israel. I am a certified Master Executive Coach (EMCI) and Master Coach (MCI) by the Israeli Coaching Association (ICA). I teach at ICA’s coaching courses for life coaching, executive coaching and coaching for ADHD at the prestigious Continued Education Center of the Technological Institute of Israel (The ‘Technion’) and in other venues. I also develop coach-training materials, courses layouts and coaching tools.
I have a B.Sc. in Chemistry Engineering and in the last two decades I held several management positions in various industries (food, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and others) and also did a lot of training and consulting. This gave me a good understanding of the corporate world, how organizations work and what are the challenges for the people working in them.
I started coaching in an informal way about 10 years ago, and later studied and got certified by Raymond Katz, the Chairman of ICA and the developer of the “Results-Focused Coaching” © methodology. Katz’s original system and tools was developed in Israel and is a proven success. This highly effective organized set of principles and coaching tools, which is only taught in ICA’s training courses in Israel, is practiced through Israel’s leading banks, Hi-Tech companies and even several government offices and the Israel’s military, the IDF. However, it is only available in Hebrew, which is only spoken by roughly 0.15% of the world’s population…
So, together with Raymond I took this system, streamlined it further to become what I call “Rapid Results Coaching” © which is especially suitable for the Executive Coaching arena. Our co-authored book about it is scheduled to be published in Israel around September 2009.
At the same time I founded eCoachingSuccess.com to be my platform, and I am busy translating my stuff in English and adapting it to be published over the net. I believe that this is the most organized and effective coaching system there is, and it is my intention to make it available around the world. So become a subscriber and stay tuned. And for those who like statistics – I am 45 years old, happily married (22 years!) to a Practical Fairy. We have two boys in their late teens and a younger princess to rule our hearts. We live in a small community amidst the hills of the beautiful lower Galilee region of Israel.
